之前說要搬家到Pixnet��可是後來發現了1個很不容忽視的因素��所以就算YBlog後台有點慢��還是會同步更新。

將會新建1個帳號��因為這裡的文章大雜亂了��剛開始在這裡寫的時候還是菜菜鳥所以沒設想到那麼全面��到想說搞個分類時發現已經覆水難收TˋT。

會把舊帳號��這裡��的網址從「escape」改成「escape1」��而新帳號則會沿用「escape」。

20个月前，我翻译了一段歌词。

这段歌词出自陈慧琳演唱的《Love Paradise》。这首歌在一场特殊的婚礼里不停地播放。新郎要将这首歌献给自己深爱的新娘。

只是这场婚礼举办的地点跟平常婚礼不一样，是在漳州的殡仪馆里。新娘躺在冰冷的棺椁里。她听不见新郎为她唱的任何歌曲。

新郎和新娘相恋了3年，刚开始新娘家里反对他们在一起。但新郎的诚心还是打动新娘的家人。

但所有不幸的事在他们举行婚礼的8天前发生了。

当日，两名劫匪以租房为名，对新娘实施入室抢劫，并连捅了她8刀。新娘就再也没有醒来。但新郎坚守了承诺，正式迎娶她进门，让她成为他真正的妻子……

那是一场没有欢笑的婚礼。婚礼的结束是葬礼的开始。新郎从岳父手中接过的是妻子冰冷的双手，从此开始一个人的婚后生活。

16个月前，我到了泉州湾的一座无人岛。

这座岛叫大坠岛，很受驴友的欢迎，这里的海很美。

我在岛上遇见了一对夫妻，到现在，他们已在岛上生活了33年。

他们都出生于上世纪50年代，他们的爱很真实也很舍得付出。

12个月前，我在福州街头闲逛。

走在秋风中，看见路边有一对老夫妻。老爷爷坐在椅子上，他的爱人戴着老花镜，正在帮他理发。

他们俩结婚近60年，虽然也经常吵架，但他们的生活却谁也离不开谁。

1954年，老爷爷和老奶奶经人介绍相识，并结婚了。当时他们很穷，结婚时没有婚礼也没有喜酒，只有几颗糖果和一声：“我们结婚了。”

结婚后的每个早晨，老爷爷在起床后都会叠好被子。夜幕降临后，老爷爷都会把床铺得整整齐齐，等候老奶奶。

老奶奶说，换过了好多张床，有那种会咯吱咯吱响的毛竹床，也有用木板临时拼起来的床，但老爷爷总有办法让床变得更加牢固，不会发出声响，“别的没什么，就是这张床好，睡得踏实。”

老奶奶为了贴补家用则学会理发，并给老爷爷理发。而这一理便是50多年。

老爷爷说，不管他工作怎么调动，唯一不变的是，老奶奶都会陪着他，为他理发。

老奶奶说，她会一直帮老爷爷理发至眼睛看不见。

老爷爷的名字叫徐万龄，老奶奶的名字是：韦秀兰。

他们出生在内忧外患的上世纪20年代，他们的爱很简单但却很浓郁。

遇见这三对夫妻的时间间隔刚好都是4个月左右，他们的出生年代也刚好相隔30年左右。

他们都很相爱，虽然他们相爱的方式都不一样。或许轰轰烈烈，或平平淡淡，但他们都愿意为彼此付出。

在爱情速食的时代，他们美丽的爱情，总会感动着些许人。他们都是平凡的人，他们却告诉我们，只有愿意付出才能得到真爱。

某一天，我騎著腳踏車經過學校操場。正好騎過某個從游泳池走出來的男同學身旁，而他正在講手機。
而且講話音量不是普通大聲，簡直就像是在宣告世界終結一樣的大喊著。
我自然是不想聽也得聽。而以下是他的第一句話。

"欸欸你聽我說，剛剛在泳池裡面遇到的原住民的小女孩好可愛喔(心)！"

啥!?蓋亞!?

"而且年紀大概才小二還小三而已，好可愛喔！"

不不不，這可是以純樸著稱的花蓮地區，我一定是太勞累聽錯...

"阿阿阿～好想帶一隻回家由我來飼養喔，哈阿哈阿(喘)～"

快來人報警阿，這邊有一個好危險的怪叔叔在阿。阿，我也在這邊。不對，我不是怪叔叔阿!!

"而且還是阿美族的，哈哈，有機會我也想生一個呢(心)。"

快點逃阿!!小蘿莉；快點逃阿!!阿美族的女性同胞，這個男人完全就是瞄準你們的遺傳因子而來的阿!!

之後，我邊在心中全力吐槽邊往前騎，連回頭都不敢回頭，就此離他遠去。

某一天，我騎著腳踏車經過某個男人；某一天，我心中這麼吐槽著；某一天，我好餓，徑直騎到港龍吃叉燒了。

沒料到，我會因為這種無法找人宣洩這件事情而跑上來PO這麼無聊的文章，完畢。

上過戰場後，似乎什麼事都可以不在乎，都可以無動於衷，直到今日。日軍偷襲珍珠港，對我們國人來說是難以想像，難以想像美國本土發生戰爭。可是今天，當我看到眼前的景象，不得不說這是我在沖繩戰役親眼所見的翻版，那麼對於其他人來說，應該就像是剛從床上睡醒，穿著睡衣就突然被丟進戰場，那樣的驚愕、那樣地恐懼。

Authors Note: This post is purely based on personal experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Though it is likely that this system is used at the other Big 4 accounting firms, this my not necessarily be the case at Deloitte, Ernst & Young and KPMG.

The Big 4 employ an “up or out” mentality, meaning that staff are either promoted each year or asked to leave the firm. While this is something you are not likely to come across in your recruiting experience, this is generally good news for employees. If you take your career seriously and work hard, there is a very good chance that your roles and responsibilities (and pay) will grow with each year of Big 4 accounting. This is a major benefit of the Big 4 as opposed to, say, a staff accounting position in industry.

PricewaterhouseCoopers uses a 4 tiered rating system to rank and compare each “class” of staff. When you come into the firm you are filed into a “class” with those who start at around the same time as you. Much like school, you and your class will progress through the firms ranks at roughly the same pace. Before we discuss this further, here is a brief refresher on the firm hierarchy. For those of you interviewing for an experienced position, this will help you determine which level you will come in at.

Intern - Typically a college student who has just completed their junior year or, in the case of Masters candidates, just completed their senior year of college.

First year Associate - This is the rank that college grads come into the firm as. Known as “new hires” for the first few months or so, and then “first years” for the remainder of the year. This level is targeted most heavily by the firms’ campus recruiting program. How much do Big 4 associates make? These positions typically have a very competitive starting salary. Check out THIS POST for specific info on salaries and compensation:

Experienced Associate - After your first year, or in some cases after your first busy season, you will become an “experienced associate.” This is not technically a promotion, but rather an indicator of rank. Many offices have an annual promotion day. On this day, every staff member who is eligible for a promotion or a move up in the ranks is officially given their new title. It is common to spend two years as an Experienced Associate before moving on to the Senior level.

Senior Associate - After spending two years at the Experienced Associate level staff are likely to be promoted to Senior Associate. This is the first change in rank that is considered an actual “promotion.” Accordingly, candidates are expected to meet predetermined criteria and performance metrics to achieve the promotion. The ranking system, which I will discuss below, comes into play here. It should be noted that some staff are promoted to Senior after only one year at the Experienced level. This is uncommon but, due to the specific office/ team needs or in the case of exceptional performance, it does happen. Seniors are responsible for running audit engagements on the front lines. It is widely considered that seniors bare the toughest work load due to the fact that they are responsible for performing the most difficult front line audit work and reviewing nearly all of the work done by first-years and experienced associates. This is the level at which many staff leave for the sparkling positions open to them in industry with a Big 4 resume.

Manager - After working as a Senior Associate for two - three years, the next promotion is Manager. (Note: Some make the designation of “Second Year Senior” or “Experienced Senior” prior to Manager). At this point, Managers will have had roughly five to six years with the firm. There is a major increase in salary at this point. At this level it is likely that managers will begin to seriously consider the “Partner track.” Managers are not in the field nearly as much as seniors and, as the name implies, take on a far greater managerial role.

Senior Manager - Senior managers are really Partners in training. By this point Big 4 public accounting has become a career. While many view the Big 4 as a launching pad for their career, Senior Managers view the Big 4 as a career in itself. Because Senior Managers are able to leave the firm and hand pick their dream job in industry, the compensation at this level is extraordinary.

Partner - This is the highest level attainable in Big 4 accounting firms. Partners have a vested interest in the firm and buy into the partnership. What is the life of a partner like? A salary of at least $Million, a reputation as a trusted member of the elite business community and a American Express Black card, and much more. You are the best of the best.

When I come across people and companies who claim that they don't "do" social media, I have to stop myself from saying that whether they like it or not, it still affects things that they already "do." Even if your company doesn't participate in Facebook or Twitter, the following are three ways that social media affects how others view your business:

1. The company website

About Page. This is the most important page of your website. People will skip right over the home page and head to your About page. And, nothing is more disappointing than an About page with bland corporate speak and nary a photo of the people behind the company. While this used to work prior to 2010, audiences expect to see you and be able to gain some insight into your company's personality.
Contact Us. This is the second most important page of your site. On most sites built prior to social media, the only way to contact a company is through a form. That works, especially if your company receives a lot of general questions. But, in a transparent social media environment, a contact form feels a little too impersonal. Why not also give people who took the time to visit your site more options about how to interact with you going forward? This can easily be done by encouraging them to follow you on Twitter, visit your Facebook fan page or check out your blog. Individuals at companies can even put links to their public LinkedIn profile.

2. E-newsletters

If you rely on e-newsletters to communicate with your clients/prospective clients, you've probably noticed that open rates are down and unsubscribe, blocks and "non-existent addresses" are up. This is due to several reasons:

Increased use of overzealous spam filters.
People being overloaded with e-newsletters.
A tumultuous job market means that contacts registered under a company email, could be forever lost as subscribers if they are laid off or switch jobs.
Many people are viewing emails on smartphones, which are not good for e-newsletters.
People want the information delivered to them on their schedule, not yours.

Social media (i.e. Blogs, Twitter and Facebook) allows individuals to get the information they want, when they want it and how they want it. While e-newsletters aren't going away in the near future (just like email and telephones won't) smart businesses are using social media to connect with clients who they might not be able to reach any other way. In addition, you can get more bang for your e-newsletter buck by linking to it from your social media accounts and including share buttons within the email.

3. Business Directories

When was the last time you opened a phone book? They are virtually irrelevant, yet the same companies who used to spend on Yellow Page ads won't take the time to list their website and contact information on Google maps/places and other prevalent online directories.

Today, Google maps is much more than driving directions. Today you can find contact info and even reviews on any business you want by just typing in the name or type of business and the general location. For example, try doing a search on Google maps for a type of restaurant or retail business in your town (i.e. a sushi restaurant or a plumber).

Based on the results, you might be inclined to pick the first listed, which likely has the most reviews and specials.

When I was first growing my business, every decision I made came from fear of getting (or not getting) the client. My pricing was competitive but I was always quick to discount and offer "special deals" when I sensed someone couldn't afford the investment.

Once I realized this fear was out of my own fear of rejection, I was able to see my clients as magnificent beings, that if they wanted what I was offering, they would make it happen - and they always did!

Tip # 2

Discounting Disempowers Your Clients

The truth is that people value what they pay for. By discounting your services, people will not experience the full transformation that they would have received by making the full investment.

Do not confuse discounting with love! Don't get me wrong, it's great to love your clients, I love mine very much, but instead of discounting, give them your best service, a shorter time frame, or a stronger guarantee. Your goal is to to INCREASE your value, not DECREASE your fee.

Tip #3

If Money is an Issue for your Client, Create an Appealing Counter Offer

I really get it...you really love your clients, so you will want nothing to stand in their way in order for them to experience your "special magic" that will transform their lives. There is always a possibility for them to experience your unique brand of transformation through an easy payment plan option. Don't be shy about bringing this up if they can't afford your initial fee up front. Just don't stretch the payments out for too long.

The Phonetic Alphabet

I recall my children learning the phonetic alphabet at school and I remember reading stories to my daughter all about Annie Apple and Naughty Nick and his lost nails.

Great fun and a useful tip when getting people's names from the gatekeeper is to write the difficult ones down phonetically rather than literally. Type this into your CRM system so when you get to talk to them, you're able to say their name perfectly.

Spell it as it is said, is the key.

A short tip that'll pay you big dividends when you get to pronounce the name of a prospect when everyone else gets it wrong.

Ask for their help

For most salespeople, if not all of us, being nice to people is second nature and something that gives us plenty of pleasure. So being extremely nice to the gatekeeper should come naturally to us.

The problem is we know they have been created to fob us off as their boss doesn't want any sales calls.

And this puts us on our guard and we leave ourselves to the mercy of the gatekeeper's generosity.

Sound Important

A UCLA survey showed that on the telephone a massive 84% of the message and meaning is derived purely from your voice. This fact deserves a book in its own right but for now I'm asking that you sound important so you can get through the gatekeeper.

Important people have deeper voices and say things in shorter sentences. Their tone of voice falls at the end of each sentence to accentuate their importance and they leave lots of pauses.

And most people when faced with someone who sounds ever so important will put you through without hesitation. Try it, its fun as well.

Whether you're an entrepreneur just starting out, or an established sales professional with a well-seasoned client stable, cold-calling is (or should be) a core aspect of your daily sales activities. Let's face it, if your business isn't moving forward, every day, it's moving backward. A lack of initiative towards growth is just as damaging as poor customer care. You've got to engage new prospects and new opportunities at every instance, and one of the best ways to do this is through cold-calling.

Now, understanding cold-calling's importance doesn't mean that it's easily or readily embraced. Let's face it, reaching out to a total stranger, whether face-to-face or on the telephone, is not for everyone. True, many individuals thrive in this type of environment, but most of us find cold-calling to be a less-than-enjoyable activity. To that end, support documents such as cold-calling scripts help us to focus our message in a compelling and efficient manner.

In some instances however, cold-calling scripts become a crutch rather than an aid. A script can give a false sense of security. "If I just stick to the script, everything will fall into place," you say to yourself. "People will love me and my product/service, and sales will just flow." If it was only that easy!

Leaning on cold-call scripts too much can develop habits that are considered "less than optimum". These habits generally fall into 3 categories and include:

Using Your Script Cold
Whether you're developing a script or have received one, take some time to warm up to it before using it on your prospects. You don't want to sound like you're reading from cue-cards. Practice so that the script flows naturally. Sounding like a robot (or chipmunk) will do nothing for your effectiveness and will cancel your credibility before you even get the chance to establish it. Practice role-playing with a colleague or someone you trust to give you appropriate feedback. Go through your speech in front of a mirror; even if you're only going to cold-call on the phone, your physical characteristics will transfer. People can sense when you're frowning as easily as when you're smiling. Hone your speech through practice until it flows from memory, then start tapping prospects.

Sticking to The Script
This may seem contradictory to the section above, but it's not. If you're going to use a cold-calling script, by all means take the time to become intimately familiar with it. But don't allow it to control your discussion. Use it as a guide, rather than a speech. A good script should be a means to help you open a dialogue with your prospect, not become a one-sided conversation. Once the dialogue is open, pursue your immediate goals (such as scheduling a meeting) within the context of the conversation. Trying to stick with the script will make you seem stiff and fearful, two qualities you do not want to instill in your prospect.

Becoming So Enamored that You Can't Throw Away The Script
Remember, the cold-call script is supposed to assist you in introducing yourself to your prospect in a professional manner. It's not a world-class speech and won't turn you into Winston Churchill or Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Don't become so committed to a script that you become blinded by it. If you're not getting the results you're expecting, don't hesitate to rewrite your script. Or scrap it altogether if needed. And expect to continually tweak it as the situation demands. Think of the cold-calling script as a living document, something that should be updated regularly as you become more adept and more confident in your ability to approach and engage prospects.

Cold-calling should be a core activity in your sales initiatives. It doesn't matter if you're a well-seasoned salesperson or a freshly-minted entrepreneur, cold-calling is a critical element in moving your business forward. It may not be the most comfortable undertaking, but these 3 rules will help you leverage a good script and put you on the road to success.

呜呼！白山黑水，流云苍苍；春秋有序，天道无常。惟兹星暗月黑，忧客愁人怅怅。际此烟横雾谷，孝子贤孙悲悲。求木本于乔梓，灵株独萎；寻水源于河洛，热泪空流。

我们今生最敬爱的阿公，我们一声声撕心裂肺的呼唤，您听见了吗？时至今日，我们还不敢相信您已经离开了，离开您万般疼惜的内外子孙，离开敬重爱戴您的邻里乡亲。现在，我们跪在您的灵前，看着您的遗像，回想起您对我们的疼爱，回想起您勤劳的一生，回想起您多病的晚年，我们忍不住悲痛万分，泪水长流。哀哉！痛哉！

阿公，走完了人生八十二个春夏秋冬，熬尽了世间咸酸苦涩滋味，经历了崎岖坎坷路程。阿公，您一生打拼、坚强的优良品德，让我们感恩和缅怀。

阿公，1930年正月十八出生于下宫东头。三岁时，太公带着伯公、二伯公下南洋，阿公与太嬷相依为命。二十一岁时，阿公与阿嬷结婚建立家庭。阿公身上有着闽南人“爱拼才会赢”的奋斗精神。当爸爸、叔叔、姑姑5人的遂个出生，家庭的生活是十分困难，但阿公非常坚强。只要可以赚钱养家，不管是多么艰苦的工种，车石、箍桶、放鸭，他都卖力去做。那时候，阿公起早贪黑地拖身拖命劳累，倾尽了无数心血来培养他们长大成人。长时间的劳累，让阿公在年轻时就身体抱恙，但他依然努力地赚钱养家。阿公，以克勤克俭的方法和艰苦创业的意志，兴建了厝宅。阿公，在您的5个子女心目中是最伟大、最崇高、最无私的好父亲。

阿公，一生宽怀大度，和睦邻里，乐善好施。从不与人计较，争辩，而是默默无闻地做好事、做善事。如东头自来水厂、港沟大道、关帝宫、东头球场等公益事业的建设，无不渗透着阿公的一份功劳。值得一提的是，东头自来水厂的创建，阿公不但带头动员三叔慷慨解囊，而且为施工中遇到的种种困难作了许多苦口婆心的协调工作。饮水思源，乡人有口皆碑。

阿公，在咱家族中处处闪烁着典型的形象。在阿公的脑海中，甚至连太公的长相都不知道，但他无时不刻不牵挂着他的父亲。阿公，孝顺太嬷，努力打拼，撑起整个家。阿公，与阿嬷患难相扶、相敬如宾。阿嬷过世后，阿公一个人卧病在床，常常因思念阿嬷而眼泪流，阿公的病情也日益加重。阿公，家教有方的潜移默化，让爸爸、叔叔、姑姑等人，能自强奋进，建家立业。事业稍成，回报社会。阿公，对我们孙辈的关怀和疼惜是胜过了别人的长辈，至今犹历历在目。阿公，认为内外子孙（包括结契）不管男女，都是您心头的一块肉。孙辈民、杰、娟、婷、艺、红、梅，自您扶携入幼儿园起，离不开您的教诲和勉励，所以顺利分别录取于中南林业科技大学、湖南城市学院、厦门城市学院、西南政法大学、泉州师范学院、漳州职业技术学院、福建师范大学。阿公最大的期望是我们学有所成，报效家邦。我们尚无回报，汗颜自愧。阿公，您在弥留时，还在牵挂着子孙们的事业、学业。我们说好的，每个周末回来看您，但是没等我们再回来看您，您就匆匆走了，我们连您最后一面都没见上。哀哉！痛哉！

呜呼！阿公一生劳苦功高，积劳成疾。2005年春天，阿公不幸中风。呜呼！病魔瞎眼，二竖为害。6年来，阿公终日卧病在床，他一直坚强地跟病魔作斗争。阿公恸于本月十一凌晨1：20，与世长辞。当晚天飘起了雨，好像为这位好人去世而流泪。白天转为晴空一片，映衬了阿公光明磊落的一生。哀哉！痛哉！

阿公，十二中午的那场暴雨，是不是您在天堂遇见了阿嬷，两人相拥而泣呢？阿公，您和阿嬷在天堂会一直看着我们，对吗？阿公，爸爸、叔叔、姑姑5人，今后听到《阿爸》的歌曲时，怎样不会肝肠寸断呢？您是爸爸、叔叔、姑姑他们心中的那座大山，给了我们一个家。阿公，当我们听到《故乡的旧电影》这首闽南语歌曲时，我们会想起，小时候，熟悉的大路是阿公牵阮行，提着椅寮坐在那阿公讲古乎阮听。彼时阵我们是囝仔，什么拢呒惊，是阿公教我们做人的道理。希望后世人阮搁会冻来乎您疼，作您永远的孙仔，搁叫您一声“阿公”。

阿公，您今嘛在叨位？阮在叫您，您甘有听到？阿公，您今嘛过得好么？阮在叫您，您知影没？阿公，这阵，您是不是跟阿嬷在一起？您们会一起手牵手，斗阵走，您们在会斗阵幸福，对吗？言有尽而情未有终，阿公，任我们千呼万唤，您再也不能睁开慈祥的眼睛了，从今以后，我们再也看不到您和蔼可亲的面容，听不到您呼子唤孙的声音了。哀哉！痛哉！
